Who controls the data

PAXSOFT TECNOLOGIA E DESENVOLVIMENTO DE PROGRAMAS LTDA, registered under CNPJ 41.383.065/0001-40, based in Florianópolis, SC, Brazil (“Paxsoft” or “we”), is the controller of the personal data processed on this website.

What data we collect

• Contact form: name or company, email, and the content of the message you write.
• Technical security data: IP address and browser information, used to check that submissions are not automated (Cloudflare Turnstile) and to limit abusive attempts.
• Browsing data: pages visited, traffic source, device type, and interactions, collected by Google Analytics only if you accept analytics cookies.
• Performance metrics: aggregated, cookieless data about visits and loading speed, collected by Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights.
• Language preference: a cookie that stores the language you chose.

How we use the data

• To reply to messages sent through the form or by email and to discuss potential projects.
• To protect the website and the form against spam, fraud, and abuse.
• To understand how the website is used and improve content and performance.
• To remember your language preference and your cookie choice.

We do not sell your personal data.

Legal bases

• Pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest (LGPD art. 7, V and IX) to reply to your message.
• Legitimate interest (art. 7, IX) for website security, abuse prevention, and aggregated performance metrics.
• Consent (art. 7, I) for Google Analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share data with

We use providers that process data on our behalf, only to run the website:

• Vercel: website hosting and aggregated performance metrics.
• Cloudflare: anti-bot verification for the form (Turnstile).
• Google: Google Analytics, only with your consent.
• Infrastructure services for email delivery and form rate limiting.

Some of these providers may process data outside Brazil. In those cases, international transfers follow LGPD art. 33. We may also share data when required by law or by order of a competent authority.

How long we keep data

• Contact messages: as long as needed to reply and, if a project follows, for the duration of the business relationship and applicable legal periods.
• Security and rate-limiting records: for short periods, only as needed to protect the form.
• Google Analytics data: for the retention period configured in the tool.

Cookies

• paxsoft-locale (necessary): stores the language you chose, for up to 1 year.
• _ga and _ga_* (analytics, Google Analytics): only set if you accept, and last up to 2 years.
• Your cookie choice is saved in your browser's local storage (paxsoft-cookie-consent).

You can change your choice at any time through the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.

Your rights

Under the LGPD (art. 18), you can request at any time:

• confirmation that we process your data and access to it;
• correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data;
• anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data;
• data portability;
• deletion of data processed based on consent and withdrawal of that consent;
• information about who we share your data with.

Security

We use technical measures to protect data, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), anti-bot verification, rate limiting, and browser security policies. No system is fully immune to incidents, but we work to reduce risks and act quickly if something happens.
